Motorcycles lined up on the beach during early morning
This weekend – February 16th & 17th, 2019 – saw the return of historic motorcycles to Sellicks Beach for a fun packed two days of racing.
Thank you to Motorcycling SA’s Brenton Matters and Steven Matthews for their invitation and cooperation with ABBTA who managed the catering and site plan for this very large event that puts Aldinga Bay on the map. ABBTA Chair Hazel Wainwright and ABBTA Secretary Martin Howells liaised with MSA for months prior and saw through the event to a successful completion over the two days.
The food vendors were Liquid Delights, Bavarian Grill, The Satay Hut, Hot Diggity’s Hot Dogs, D&D Catering, Brian Bowden Pizza, Shredded Wrap N Roll, Natura’s Artisan Ice Cream of Hahndorf, Signor Arrosticini, Clucking Delicious and the Not For Profit, Friends of Sellicks. A big thank you to the Aldinga Bay Scout group as volunteers marshalling for the carparking on Norman Road. This was hot, hard work by 20 of their parent committee and leaders who committed to this event.
Finally, thank you to the Community for your ongoing support, gold coin donations for parking, and patronage.
