Membership Benefits

Membership is one very small part of what the Aldinga Bay Business and Tourism Association has to offer.

Here is a list of members’ benefits available to you and your business:

  • Promotion of your business on our social media networks. Social media is our strength and has reached just under 100,000 views for a single promotion.
  • Networking opportunities with fellow traders at Network Meetings. These are held at various venues within our area. Hosting one of these meetings gives your business exposure to a large range of businesses and gives you the opportunity to develop partnerships which are mutually beneficial.
  • Advice on finding solutions for your Council concerns, you can let the association know if you are having issues with Council and the association may write on your behalf.  As an association we have a stronger voice to advocate for you.
  • Our Association is a member of the Mayor’s Economic Forum which provides a direct line of communication with Local Government.
  • 10% off your advertisement in the Council’s Visitor Guide
  • An opportunity to hear interesting speakers at functions, as a member you are always welcome to attend general meetings.
  • Business development opportunities, the association is in a position to be presented with opportunities that may be attractive to your business.
  • Business training workshops (OHS&W, Fire safety and First aid) the Association can sometimes access these at reduced prices on your behalf.
  • Business and other useful information dissemination (latest regulations, invitations to free events, etc.) from our Chair.
  • Business Watch, liaison with SA Police especially if your business is having problems, a member of the SA Police attends all general meetings, you can have direct access.
  • Festival and Event support, advice and sponsorship on request.
  • Web page on the ABBTA website included in membership.
  • 30% discount for websites purchased through the ABBTA web manager

The more you get involved with your community, the more you will get out of it. Your membership fee is a small investment for all these benefits. Committee participation brings with it the opportunity to make real changes to benefit the economy of our region.
